"inertia of success".

The first lesson to be derived is that when a company has had a continuous record of growth in sales and profitability of any company there is the danger of what may be termed as the "inertia of success".

INTERAGRATION of Technology :

INTERAGRATION of Technology :

While technology, in its broadest sense, can be defined as "the practical application of knowledge" (from Webster's online dictionary), in this document we define technology to be "the combination of human imagination, inventiveness and electronic tools that transform ideas into reality to meet a need or solve a problem." Educational technology includes hardware (computers, handheld devices, printers, digital cameras), software and content applications (programming classes, productivity software), and media (the Internet and videoconferencing

Technology strategy formulation

1. Technology Assessment
The process of technology assessment aims to collect information on the current and future state of technology development, to evaluate the importance of each technology in the competitive arena and the strength of the enterprise in each technology.

2. Technology Selection
The technology selection aims at identifying the critical technologies which the enterprise should concentrate its interest on, and thus prioritize its investments is called technolgy selection

3. Definition of Portfolio of Technological Projects

Technology projects can be classified in two main types:
R&D&E projects (research, development and engineering related to product and process). Process should be understood in a broad sense, involving the production chain as a whole and not only manufacturing. Raw materials and components development, suppliers development and customer services should be included.
Capital investment projects (purchasing of manufacturing and laboratory equipment).

Business technology management

Business technology management (BTM) is a term for a group of services intended to help businesses that might not have their own information technology (IT) department. BTM can include technology planning, project management, support, database services, disaster recovery, network management, security, and document services such as e-billing, document formatting, and mass printing and mailing. A company that offers BTM services may offer consulting or the actual service itself.

Production system

Production system

(Summary)

Introduction

The new economic system constructed by new high teaches production of the new technology. The first part of innovation is invention of the technology. Second part of innovation is commercialization, main difference between the technology system and the production system is that teleology system is knowledge and production system is utility. The ideas of production architecture and complexity and the different roles of technology in production, service, production and operations systems.

Computer architecture

Vion Neumann’s famous report had described the logical scheme of computer operational architecture: single – instruction single. (SISP) .first a program and data must be input into computer memory.. a central processing unit CPU call up the program instruction in sequence from the stored program and executes each instruction , on the data after the data have been transformed according to each instruction , the result calculated is stored temporarily and then transformed by further instruction in the program . After all instruction in the program have been executed the final result are both stored in memory and outputted from the computer

At the lower logical level of the computer technology, a binary number system has been mapped into physical circuits of the computer . The instruction of the program and the data upon which calculations are performed are expressed in binary numbers, which constitute the lowest level of mapped into the physical structure of the computer. the binary number integer number with only two symbols (0,1) IN binary symbol 0-0, 1-1, 2-10, 3-11,4-100,5-101, 6-110,7-111,8-1000,9-1001,10-1010 . Example 1+2 = 3 here in binary system 1+10=11

Technology system and production system

The difference between a technology system and a production system are 1. In the detail and fully connected steps of the core technology in the production system 2. In completing the production system with the necessary secondary technologies.

A product system is a completed and connected transformational technology system used by a customer

A product system such as a computer involves not just one simple logic in its technology system but many complex logics . Most physical technologies have relatively simple schematic logic but have complex physical morphologies in their production systems

Technical progress in production systems

Technical progress in a production can occur from technological invention to improve its production process.

Finally we found that business technology system are embodied not only in production system but also in production system, service system , and operation systems

Meaning of Evaluation

Evaluation aims to answer agreed questions and to make a judgment against specific criteria. Like other research, for a good evaluation, data must be collected and analyzed systematically, and its interpretation considered carefully. Assessing 'value' - or the worth of something - and then taking action makes evaluation distinctive. The results of an evaluation are intended to be used.

There are many different perspectives and approaches to evaluation. Answering questions such as 'Why are we doing it?' 'Who is the evaluation for?' and 'What are the key issues to address?' will help you decide whether you wish to self-evaluate or to have an external evaluation. The questions will help you to think about what you want to focus on. For example, this could be:

  • your organisational structure and how it works
  • how you carry out your services or activities
  • how users experience the project
  • what changes or benefits the project brings about
